Life in NIE
I really learned and improved my English during my English bridging course
in NIE.For academic writing skills, I've learned to write introduction, explanation, evaluation, argument and even research
paper. For my oral communication skills, now I can express my own opinions confidently. Especially after debating practice,
I began to think using English instead of my mother tongue Chinese. For reading course, I've read many articles with a variety
of topics which strengthen my general knowledge. For listening class, I've kept listening to the BBC at least fifteen minutes
every day. Besides, I can use PowerPoint and E-database well now. To sum up, I have learned not only the language knowledge,
but also the skills to study in NIE. Moreover, during the JC Program, I also made friends with local students. I really enjoy
my study experience in NIE.
